WE APOLOGISE FOR THE DELAY TO THIS SERVICE
Unfortunately we’ve finally had to make the decision to announce that Last Train Home Festival will be joining the slew of music festivals being forced to cancel this year’s event, to instead run it in 2021.
We waited as long as we could to see if guidance became sufficiently clear enough for us to picture running a festival this year, however at present, whatever little in the way of strategies the government has offered with regard to supporting venues and events, has fallen short of the mark in giving the industry a clear idea of how and when we might be able to organise anything.
In light of this perpetual uncertainty, we hope you understand our decision in postponing the festival.
Looking ahead then, we can confirm that #LTH2021 will take place on September 4th next year, so you can stick it in your diaries, which will no doubt already be filling up with all manner of postponed events for when the industry’s ready to explode back into the world.
To the kind people who already bought tickets for this year, you should receive an email very soon detailing the date change, which offers you the option of a refund should you wish to take it, otherwise your tickets will simply carry onto next year’s event. Tickets will technically be on sale now, and for the whole duration of next year should anyone fancy supporting the festival this far in advance, but we wouldn’t blame you if not as it’s ages away!
We recognise that all of this is only really to make sure we’re all keeping safe during this pandemic, on which note we’d like to hope you and your families are all well, and we can’t wait to see you once the we’re all able to get together again.
In the meantime, keep enjoying our darlo@home online gigs, and look forward to a few more online gig announcements we might have popping up soon!
